Steven represents clients on a wide range of real estate transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements across all major commercial property types, joint venture agreements, and loan and closing documentation for financings and re-financings. Drawing on his prior experience as a tax associate, solo practitioner and in-house general counsel, Steven often functions as a de facto outside general counsel to his clients, and advises them on general corporate, tax, and trademark matters, in addition to their real estate transactional needs. Steven’s clients include real estate developers and property owners, start-up companies, small businesses, high net worth individuals and tax-exempt organizations.
COMMUNITY
Steven has served as an officer or director of numerous non-profit organizations, and has many non-profit organization clients who are active in the Los Angeles area classical music scene, including Hear Now Music Festival, MicroFest, Tuesdays at Monk Space, People Inside Electronics, Los Angeles Percussion Quartet, Southern California Marimba, PARTCH Ensemble and brightwork newmusic.
