With over two decades of experience, Shai Halbe is a trusted partner for his clients through complex real estate transactions, from project financing, development, leasing and operation to the ultimate, successful disposition. Shai has a broad-based real practice that encompasses finance, acquisitions, dispositions, developments and joint ventures. He regularly represents lenders and borrowers in complex, commercial loans secured by all classes of property, and has carved out a particular expertise with the senior living industry. He also routinely represents borrowers in structuring and negotiating commercial real estate loans ranging in size from $10 million to $300 million.
Shai has done extensive work in the leisure and hospitality industry, representing some of the world’s leading hotel companies, golf course owners, investment banks, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and family offices. He negotiates and structures management agreements and deals for hotels, resorts and golf courses around the world and has spoken at hospitality industry conferences across the U.S., in Europe and in Mexico.
