Nicole represents a wide array of clients – both plaintiffs and defendants – in state and federal courts. She routinely handles issues involving employment disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, workers compensation, fraud, class actions, and various corporate employment issues. Nicole has extensive experience in e-discovery, cross-border litigation, and pretrial and trial experience. Her practice includes the representation of corporations and individuals in all phases of investigations and litigation. She also provide human resource problem solving and resolution of employee issues. Before entering private practice, she served as a trial clerk with the Federal Public Defender of Los Angeles, and clerked for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Special Litigation Section in Washington D.C.
Obtained favorable settlement for employer in class action litigation over background disclosure and authorization requirements.
Successfully defeated causes of action for employer on summary judgment for claims of disability discrimination, wrongful termination, negligent hiring, and wage and hour claims.
Successfully defeated claims under the Talent Agencies Act on summary judgment in favor of talent manager.
Member of a trial team representing a former major league baseball player in a jury trial in the Central District of California.
Represented Category I Swiss Bank in a criminal investigation as part of the Swiss Bank Program.
Represented Israeli Bank in cross-border criminal investigation.
Represented workers compensation provider alleging civil RICO violations and other related causes of action in the Central District of California.
