Cole Nicholas is an associate in the firm’s Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group, where he focuses on both transactional and litigation matters. He represents debtors, trustees, and creditors in complex Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, as well as in out-of-court restructurings and workouts across a range of industries.

Cole’s experience includes drafting and analyzing critical bankruptcy pleadings, negotiating and documenting settlements in contested matters, and helping distressed clients reach efficient and strategic outcomes.

Cole earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sheri Bluebond and as a Summer Law Clerk for the Debtor Assistance Project at Public Counsel. Before law school, he worked as a member of the Community Engagement and Outreach Team in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and served as a legislative intern for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein.
