Tom has been with Elkins Kalt since the firm’s start, concentrating primarily on the tax aspects of business and asset acquisitions and dispositions, real estate investment funds, entity formation, business succession planning and estate planning. Tom is a hands-on attorney and believes – as Elkins Kalt’s partners all do – in doing the work, and he closely advises clients on complicated real estate transactions, helping sponsors, investors, and other partners form joint ventures in the pursuit of real property acquisitions. Tom also enjoys working with entrepreneurs and business owners on wealth transfer and tax matters, incorporating their business interests into their estate plans.
