Sally counsels businesses and individuals on a broad range of federal, state and local tax law topics. While Sally’s transactional tax practice centers on the tax aspects of structuring joint ventures – with a particular focus on real estate ventures and entrepreneurs in other domains – her experience extends to representing clients in connection with tax controversies at the federal, state and local level; negotiating and structuring business purchases and sales, executive agreements and 409A deferred compensation; and advising with respect to tax-deferred real estate exchange transactions.
In addition, Sally maintains a broad estate planning practice that spans from the preparation of wills and trust agreements to the navigation of complex questions related to estate, gift and income tax planning in connection with closely held business interests, real estate, and other categories of assets.
