Keith Elkins regularly represents many of the most successful and sophisticated real estate companies in the United States. They include national and regional developers, pension fund advisors, REITs, financial institutions, landlords, tenants, corporate end users, high net worth individuals and other institutional and entrepreneurial investors. His emphasis is on real property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, workouts, development and joint ventures with respect to office, industrial, retail, multi-family, raw land and hotel properties.

Keith’s practice is varied and typically includes a broad range of purchase and sale transactions (including multi-property and build-to-suit acquisitions and dispositions), development transactions in connection with ground-up development and re-positioning of assets, and a full array of joint venture negotiations (from both the operator/sponsor perspective and the primary capital partner perspective, in addition to multiple venturer structures). In addition, Keith handles a wide range of leasing transactions from interior space leases in high rise buildings to big box leases in shopping centers to single tenant multiple building lease transactions to highly complex build-to-suit corporate campus lease transactions. Keith also regularly represents clients in connection with a myriad of debt and equity financing transactions, loan acquisitions and restructurings.

For many of his clients, Keith handles a project from its nascent stage all the way through to its ultimate successful disposition. This often includes the initial purchase transaction, the equity and debt financing, the development, including the negotiation of construction contracts, architect's and engineer’s agreements, development management agreements and agreements with governmental entities. He will then handle the lease up of the Project and the refinance and/or ultimate disposition of the Project.
